The Lineup
MM Productions presents
Venetian Veil : A Masquerade Fashion Show is arranged in three parts: a narrative opener, an archive-led study in vintage craft, and a debut finale on transformation. The notes below outline what to expect.
Olivia Bolanos
The first collection retells the stories we grow up with: fairytales where heroes win, tales of resistance with happy endings, and harder truths—history and social rules where good does not prevail. Each look represents a story and designer Ariana Bolaños’ deconstruction of it. The collection balances romance, mystery, drama, darkness, and hope between fantasy and real life. Shattered fable
Vintage Frills
The second collection comes from Vintage Frills, a Chicago vintage store that sources and curates high-quality pieces. They clean, repair, and organize each garment so it is runway-ready. The looks are built entirely from Vintage Frills clothing and styled by Yue Designs—a refined way to wear quality fashion without the impact of new production.
Luis Levonche
The finale is perle urbaine, the debut collection from Luis Levonche. It is inspired by how pearls form and are cultured, drawing a parallel to people aging: beginning in dark places, hardening through experience, and emerging bright and strong.
