La Vie Boheme

RUNWAY RECAP

La Vie Bohème

Chicago • Aug 15, 2025 • Colibri, 324 N Leavitt St

La Vie Bohème marked a major step-change for MM Productions: an immersive night where fashion, art, and hospitality moved as one. For the first time, every runway look was shoppable via tap-to-buy technology, collapsing the distance between presentation and purchase without breaking the flow—guests could shop in real time with a tap.

Change:Our goal has always been bold; establish Chicago as an official Fashion Capital. At La Vie Boheme we showed the world that this is possible through a new approach. Guests purchased clothing directly from the runway in real time via our M-tag technology, proving that we can realize our mission through communal commerce. A system that benefits everyone at the table.

The MM Experience

From arrival, guests moved through an evening designed to sit just outside the ordinary frame. Signature cocktails in hand they followed a deliberate rhythm: couture on the runway, a live ballet to reset the eye, and culinary courses paced to the show. Commerce was woven into that cadence. Each look unlocked instantly through MM’s tech powered M-tags, making the runway not just a stage, but a point of sale.

Set

Set design by Zoar was approached organically, using stone sculpture and florals. With pieces from our sponsors (Three Stars Vintage and Mount Sinai), the palette focused on material behavior: marbled surfaces reflected light, while linen drapery absorbed it. The restraint kept intention in view: to unite the audience, design, and commerce in a single, shared moment.

Signature Cocktail: The White Lotus

La Vie Bohème put our runway-to-retail model into practice, proving that storytelling, scaled presentation, and instant commerce can coexist. Our framework integrates art, community, and commerce- offering a sustainable path for how fashion is presented, purchased, and worn.

with gratitude to our guests

To everyone who joined us: Your presence is what transforms these nights from production into memory. You brought the energy that allowed every detail to resonate fully, from the curve of a stitch to the rhythm of a performance. Community is what powers everything we do, and without you, none of this would be possible. Thank you.
